A2B Walkways tailored grating is available in various forms, suitable for different application and overall load conditions. Hot dip galvanizing or bitumen dipped are two of the available finishes of the steel grating. Our grating is widely used in Power Stations, Oil & Gas Industry, Boiler Plants, Mining and Refinery etc.  

Grating is specially designed for areas requiring good ventilation and emission of light. As the grating is easily cut according to required specifications the installation is easy, simple and quick. Typically our grating has been used as industrial flooring but we offer cutting and banding services for all steel & fibreglass grating products and can fabricate finished steel grating complete as per our clients drawings.

EXPANDED METAL & STEEL MESH

Expanded Metal is available in a variety of mesh sizes, and can be supplied in standard sheets (1200 x 2400) or cut to size. Expanded metal is a material with almost unlimited possibilities and applications, often used for guards, security, braai grids and walkways or platforms.  Expanded metal is available in aperture sizes from as small as 3 x 6mm, having .5mm thickness often used for fly screens to 35 x 120mm apertures having 4.5mm or 6mm thickness used for walkways and next to conveyors.

HANDRAILS

We supply a wide range of industrial ball type handrail stanchions (top mount, side mount, angled mounts etc) used in mines, stadiums, shopping centres and many

other industries. The handrails have been designed for safety, durability, strength and easy installation. Our products are approved to international standards and are supplied uncoated, galvanized or in stainless steel                                                           (3CR12, 304S/S or 316S/S).

STAIR TREADS

A2BWalkways stair treads are made of steel grating and widely used for different types of steel staircases and ladders. Featuring easy installation, strong structure,

aesthetic appearance and good water permeability. Our stair treads can be fabricated according to customer requirements, also supplied uncoated, bitumen dipped or galvanized.  

We also have a Vastrap plate option, which can be made to specification.

TRENCH COVERS

Trench covers are made of steel grating and used to cover trenches or ducts which normally house utilities  

that require full access for repairs and maintenance.  

Our trench covers are made to standard sizes but also available, custom made, to suit project requirements.
